HydroCarbons

HydroCarbon is any class of organic compound made up with hydrogen and carbon, for example, with the formula of CH4. They are connected with a type of bounds called organic bound, which is a molecular bound that contains carbon atoms. Hydrocarbons are the principal constituents of petroleum and natural gas. HydroCarbon servers as fuel for as well as raw material used in the production of plastic rubber and explosives as well as car combustion engine. Most of the HydroCarbon occur in nature with the decomposing of tree, plants or organics. In addition, it makes up fossil fuel.

Example of a CH4 Combustion reaction:

CH4 + 2 O2 → 2 H2O + CO2 + energy
